Our “bride and groom” were absolute rock stars, bringing their A-game with effortless chemistry and a willingness to embrace the vision we had all collectively dreamed up. The wardrobe was equally breathtaking. The bride wore a flowing gown with celestial embroidery that sparkled with every movement, while the groom’s dark suit and cosmic-patterned tie added a subtle but impactful nod to the theme. Let’s talk about the cake! It was a masterpiece adorned with a galaxy-inspired design and tiny edible stars. It was almost too beautiful to cut into!

My personal favourite part of the elopement shoot was working with the shadows and light to evoke a sense of drama and emotion. The windows at Sanctuary Gardens are so perfect for these artistic shots, and boy did I have fun playing around with them, experimenting with angles and reflections that brought an enchanting quality to the images. I managed to capture some super sweet candid moments from the outside of the windows as well, including the laughter and shared glances that truly illustrated the couple’s connection.

I also absolutely loved capturing the champagne pop as the sun set behind our amazing couple, illuminating the scene with a warm, golden glow, creating a magical backdrop that enhanced the celebration of their love. The atmosphere was electric, filled with joy and intimacy, allowing me to encapsulate not just images, but cherished memories that would last a lifetime.
