As a wedding photographer, capturing the essence of Ashley & Shaun’s downtown Kelowna wedding was an absolute dream. From the moment we met for their engagement photos, it was clear that the connection between the bride and groom was electric—their natural chemistry radiated between them.

After they tied the knot, I had the privilege of taking their portraits in front of a vibrant mural, where the colours mirrored their playful energy, and later, we headed up to a parkade rooftop for a stunning backdrop of the city skyline. The spontaneous dancing that erupted throughout the day was a joy to photograph—genuine moments of laughter, love, and pure fun.

One of the most moving moments of the day was when the couple honoured Shaun’s late brother Mickey with a heartfelt tribute, drinking Mickey’s beers and sharing stories that brought both tears and smiles.

It was a wedding that truly felt authentic, where every moment was meaningful, and the love between the couple was so beautifully real. It was an unforgettable day, filled with genuine emotion, vibrant joy, and a celebration of life in the heart of the city.
