ABOUT ME
Hey, I’m Devon, your friendly, adventure-loving goofball! I grew up in Calgary, but I packed up and hauled my butt to Peachland in 2020 – best. decision. ever. Now, I spend my days meeting strangers in pretty places to take photos of them, making dumb jokes, and soaking in all the beauty this place has to offer.
How would my friends describe me? Patient, creative, goofy, and kind. When I’m not behind the camera, you can usually find me hiking up a trail with way too many snacks in my backpack, thrifting for hidden treasures (vintage T-shirts are my weakness), or soaking up the sun at the lake, pretending I know how to paddleboard. I also love all the nerdy things, and love diving into a fun DnD campaign with friends, playing a good board game, or snuggling up on the couch with my husband, dog, and two kitties to enjoy a good TV series.
If you like to laugh, be weird, and listen to good music, we’ll probably get along real well.
HOW IT ALL STARTED
I’ve been hooked on photography for as long as I can remember – starting with my grandma’s film camera as a little kid. I’d sneak it out and click away, completely captivated by capturing moments. My obsession grew when I got my first digital camera at age 11; I was relentless, snapping photos of friends and family nonstop (I’m sure I drove them crazy, but hey, it’s all part of the journey, right?). I even got into the photography class in high school and took photos for our graduating class’s yearbook.
I dabbled in a bunch of different jobs and school paths that just didn’t click, but everything changed when I moved to Peachland. That’s when the stars aligned. During my engagement session with my now-husband, I had this total “aha!” moment. It hit me like a bolt of lightning: This is what I’m meant to be doing – capturing love, memories, and everything in between. In that moment, I realized that photography isn’t just a hobby for me, it’s a way to tell stories, to freeze time, and to create something that people can cherish forever. It wasn’t just about the photos anymore, it was about the connection, the emotion, and the art. And that’s when I knew I’d found my true passion and purpose.

A FEW OF MY FAVOURITE THINGS
- Family. I grew up in a pretty large, goofy family and I love them so freakin’ much it’s stupid.
- Animals. If you don’t like animals, get the heck outta here.
- Good food. Self explanatory.
- A really good TV series. I love a pretty wide variety of genres, from trashy reality (Jersey Shore is an all time fave) to cerebral shows like Severance.
- I absolutely love to travel! This year I found myself in Iceland, Norway, Belgium, The Netherlands, London and Italy. On the bucket list: Thailand, Costa Rica, Scotland and Ireland. And back to Iceland.
- House plants. I have way too many and still want more.
- Video games. What I’m playing right now: Split Fiction with my husband!

WHAT
inspires me
LOVE! Passionate love turns wedding and portrait photography into an epic quest where I’m the goofy, over-caffeinated hero with a camera! It’s like I’m capturing the world’s most adorable love story, one beautiful moment at a time. Every time a couple looks at each other with that dreamy gaze, I’m there, crouching like a ninja, trying to get the perfect shot without tripping over my own feet. The first kiss? Oh, it’s not just a kiss – it’s like I’m filming a rom-com, complete with dramatic zoom-ins and slow-motion. Love makes everything feel ridiculously magical, and I’m just here, snapping away, like a love-struck paparazzi with a bad case of camera fever.

Not just your typical “serious” family photos
“Devon is truly amazing! She photographed our wedding, and we couldn’t have been happier. Her personality is contagious! Our bridal party had so much fun with her. She has great ideas for fun wedding pictures and not just your typical “serious” family photos. I would recommend her to anybody needing a wedding photographer or just wanting photos taken in general. Thank you Devon!”
